Created in 1990, the duo O Grivo has performed live sound-track for art films, (Sydney Film Festival, 2000) and presented their astonishing sound machines at the 28th Biennial of São Paulo (2008). They have also performed at the Sharjah Biennial in 2009 (United Arab Emirates), with Valeska Soares. O Grivo has worked closely with Cao Guimarães, creating sound environments for his renowned photographs and films.
At Galeria Nara Roesle's Patio, the duo will show a sound installation composed by 25 sound machines and a toy piano. The visitors will be able to interact with it producing a polyphonic composition.
