Gil Vicente (Recife, PE, 1958). Lives and works in Recife.


Pernambuco-born Gil Vicente has produced his artwork since the 1970s, when he took part in workshops and courses in painting, drawing and engraving, gradually becoming noted and winning awards in exhibits for young artists. In 1978, he was granted his first solo exhibition at the Abelardo Rodrigues gallery, in Recife.
